The Financial Security of the Sustainable Development Activities in the Slovak Republic

Creation and updating of the competent database of the financial sources for the field of sustainable development are necessary for financial security. Issue of financing contents two dimensions. The first is the admission of aims  through the measurable indicators, which should bring the ecological and social effect and which are demanding the change of the governmental addmitances  to the economic, environmental an social field. It is expected the financing from the State Budget. From the second view the financing from the sources of European Union helps to developand improve the sustainable development.

The Slovak Republic efforts to connect the financial sources from the State Budget and from the EU Funds.

In 2006 we would like to realize the project of the Institutional Reinforcement of Sustainable Development  in the Slovak Republic in cooperation with UNDP. The mentioned project should except from human resources training to strengthen the  communication between government and non-governmental institutions in the field of sustainable development.

We are convinced that better contrentration and co-ordination of the financial sources between EU and UN in the field of Sustainable Development.
